Love Our Lakes Photo Competition

The Rotorua Te Arawa Lakes Programme works to protect and restore the lakes as a taonga for the future.

We are running the Love our Lakes photo competition this summer where you can go into the draw to win a paddle board.

We love our beautiful lakes and we’d love to hear why you do too!

The competition is open from Monday 2 December 2024 until 4pm Friday 28 February 2025.

Have a look at past entries (below) for inspiration and ideas. Have fun and be creative!

Upload your image and tell us in up to 100 words why you love the Rotorua Te Arawa lakes or in particular the one you have photographed.

Up to twenty finalists will be chosen by an in-house panel.

The top 20 entries will be put on our Rotorua Te Arawa Lakes Programme Facebook page and website for two weeks. The winner will be chosen by the public.
